Amendment To Town of Mount Moriah Bi-Laws

  Water Outage - Feb 21st,2024  starting 8:30 am lasting 4-6 hours

A Return of Service agreement between Towns of Humber Arm South and Mount Moriah is now in place that will see Mount Moriah's fire department respond when needed to assist Humber Arm South and Humber Arm South's fire department respond  when Mount Moriah's fire department needs assistance.  Mount Moriah Volunteer Fire department will remain a defensive fire department for the time being but is actively working to upgrade it's capabilities to that of both a Defensive and offensive fire attack  service.  The Humber Arm South volunteer fire department has both Defensive and offensive fire attack capability which they can enter structures (including homes) that are on fire to perform fire fighting and rescue tasks.  The Mount Moriah Volunteer Fire Department is in constant search of individuals who can join their team and welcome anyone who wants to contribute to our town with some of their their time.

Snowmobile run POSTPONED TIL MARCH 9th DUE TO WEATHER

Snowmobile Run February 24th - $10 per machine. Leaving Fire department parking lot Departing 10 am. Dance to Follow!
